Recurrent glenohumeral instability is a difficult problem to treat. While various open capsular tightening procedures have been successful historically, the use of arthroscpopic surgery to address the problem is very appealing. Benefits of MIS include the low associated morbidity and the ability to address the entire joint. In this video supplement to his JBJS article, Dr. Frank G. Alberta, demonstrates his surgical technique of capsular plication utilizing a newly released suture anchor.
