Peter J. Stern, M.D.

Dr. Stern demonstrates techniques for application of a recently introduced 2.7-3.5 mm titanium dorsal plate in a patient with posttraumatic joint degeneration. The surgical case includes discussion of which bones are fused, preparation of surfaces for the plate, tips for bone grafting and positioning of the wrist.

Dr. Stern also discusses complication risks and the recommended postoperative care.
